This is a participatory output from the media workshop arranged by SAPDA in 2017 that began with mapping topics within the issue of sexuality and reproductive health rights.
The term "Sex before marriage" in the video is an attempt to highlight stigma towards children born out of extra-marital sex. Students and youth in general, including young people with disabilities, are subjected to such notion which in many aspects oversimplify the understanding of sexual and reproductive rights.
Established in 2005 in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, SAPDA (Center for Advocacy for Women, Disabled and Children) is a non-profit organisation is engaged in the policy advocacy for education, equity and empowerment of women, children, and people with disabilities; with a focus on health and education.
SAPDA is EngageMedia's Linking and Learning partner. Linking and Learning is the process enabling the sharing of experiences and lessons from (innovative) initiatives. It is all of the activities, processes and trajectories towards boosting collaboration, exchange, learning, innovation and application of new knowledge, to catalyse transformative change for the most marginalised and discriminated groups.

Dalam video ini, partisipan lokakarya media yang diselenggarakan SAPDA mengekspresikan pandangan mereka tentang topik-topik dalam isu Hak Seksual dan Kesehatan Reproduksi untuk anak muda, khususnya anak muda dengan disabilitas. Video ini dibuat secara partisipatoris, yakni dengan melibatkan partisipan workshop dalam perumusan gagasan hingga teknis pembuatan video.
Istilah "seks di luar nikah" yang muncul dalam video adalah upaya untuk menunjukkan masih kuatnya stigma terhadap anak yang lahir di luar institusi pernikahan, terutama di kalangan pelajar atau kaum muda pada umumnya, tak terkecuali kaum muda dengan disabilitas.
